Privacy Policy
Starbob is a retro arcade game published by AlexGames. We believe games should be fun, not a way to harvest your data. This policy explains the little information the game uses and why.
The short version
- No advertising. The game contains no ads and no ad networks.
- No tracking. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we use no third-party analytics.
- No accounts. You never create an account or give us your email to play.
What the game stores
- Your high scores and the display name you type for the leaderboard. These are saved on your device and, when you choose to submit a score, sent to our leaderboard service so you can compare with other players. The name is whatever you type in — please don't enter personal details.
- Game settings and progress (such as your best score and options) are stored locally on your device.
Apple Game Center
If you sign in to Apple Game Center, Starbob can show global leaderboards through it. Game Center is provided by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We only receive the leaderboard information Apple makes available; we do not receive your Apple ID.
Children
Starbob is family-friendly and suitable for younger players. The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only text a player provides is an optional display name for the leaderboard, which is not required to play.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, browsing history, device identifiers for advertising, or any information used to build a profile of you.
